The College of Business and Law is one of the largest business schools in the Asia Pacific region and delivers industry-engaged education and applied research that spark ambition and new perspectives. About the role
We are looking for a Principal Advisor to join the College of Business and Law. In this role you will support the General Manager - College Operations where you will work in a dynamic work environment, identifying and nurturing key relationships of a sensitive nature or with high impact.
The position is responsible for the effective operationalization of specified projects, seeking input from stakeholders, development and implementation of business plans and frameworks and brokering relationships with third parties to ensure delivery within agreed time, cost and quality.
Some of the requirements of the role will include:
- Advisory services
- Project management and delivery
- Data analysis and modelling
- Preparation of decks and papers
- Managing meetings and communications
- Collaborating with business partners
You will ideally have experience in consulting, potentially people advisory. You will have extensive experience in project management in a complex environment and have experience with communications as a part of project or change delivery.
A key part of the role will be the ability to lead, motivate, influence and coordinate a variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic priorities.
Therefore, you will be highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work to plan, prioritize and achieve project deadlines and meet governance requirements, within budget, in a complex and demanding environment, and have excellent written and verbal communications.
Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive demonstrated experience in a complex operations leadership role. Change management accreditation is highly advantageous.
