The shipping sector needs to move fast to develop future proof zero carbon ship propulsion systems. These posts will be part of a team in the Southampton’s Marine and Maritime institute actively engaged in seeking out innovative solutions to help develop the future technology necessary to achieve this.

You will join our team to support our work in decarbonisation of shipping.

To be successful you will have skill level equivalent to HNC, A-Level or NVQ 3 with proven work experience acquired in a marine related discipline and either experience of practical experimentation including design, build and test of ship models or energy technology systems such as fuel cell/batteries OR numerical analysis either using commercial software or code you have written/modified.
