This is a tenure-track position in Creative Writing: Poetry at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We seek a writer with an active publishing profile whose work explores the possibilities of poetry and hybrid forms. Desired writing and teaching interests include race and/or Indigenous knowledges and perspectives. Publication and teaching experience in additional genres and/or research-creation is an asset. This hire will enlarge the ways that students in our diverse creative writing program understand and practise the craft of writing, while creating multiple avenues for collaboration across the faculty and university.
Duties include publication, teaching 12 credits (four courses) per year at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, supervision of graduate theses, and service to the department.
