Our research and teaching addresses some of the most pressing questions of our time relating to equality and human rights, the legal implications of climate change, globalisation, international relations, trade, competition and global finance, amongst others.

Our central London location provides unparalleled access to the Royal Courts of Justice, the Inns of Court, the Houses of Parliament, Government, and legal London. Members of DPSoL advise governments, serve on commissions and public bodies, and are seconded to national and international organisations, helping to shape policy and practice nationally and internationally.

We are now seeking to appoint an outstanding leader to the role of Executive Dean to ensure DPSoL further develops its reputation as a globally leading and innovative law school. The Executive Dean will be a leader with significant experience of management and developing and delivering an ambitious strategy. Reporting to the Senior Vice President (Academic), they will be a member of the University Executive which brings together all nine faculty leaders with SVPs and VPs to oversee all academic, professional services, policy, and financial decisions.

The successful candidate will have a distinguished profile in a field relevant to the School, and a strong commitment to research and innovative education. They are expected to lead and inspire, deliver financial sustainability, and encourage and nurture interdisciplinary opportunities and partnerships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
