The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Clinical Teaching Fellow in Restorative Dentistry to provide teaching in the Department of Restorative Dentistry within the Centre for Dentistry. The successful applicant will undertake clinical supervision of 3rd, 4th and Final year dental students, provide teaching in the Clinical Techniques Laboratory and will be involved in a range of clinical and academic assessments.
Successful candidates must have:
Applicants must hold a registerable dental qualification Registered with the UK’s General Dental Council A minimum of 3 years recent, relevant experience in a range of modern clinical techniques in the field of Restorative Dentistry Previous experience of teaching or training in Dentistry and /or a postgraduate qualification in dental or medical education Demonstrable ability to make a significant contribution to the teaching of Restorative Dentistry.
This is a fixed term post for 5months.
The working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate/s. The reserve list from this exercise may be used to fill additional Clinical Teaching Fellow sessions that may arise in the coming months (these sessions may be temporary or permanent, part time or full time).
