We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager at the University of Southampton to deliver a programme of Web Transformation work comprising a number of inter-related data and web-based technical workstreams and improvement initiatives which provide transparency and efficiency of NIHR projects and processes. The Programme Manager will develop the project management and delivery framework based on Agile principles, ensuring that resources are aligned with high-value priorities and timescales and that the workstreams actively engage with colleagues across the NIHR to provide services that meet their needs. 

You will have experience managing concurrent work streams and delivering technology solutions across multiple organisations. You will have experience of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management to achieve business change and improvement.

Professionalism, flexibility, self-motivation and a determination to succeed as a member of a strong team are essential. This is a full time fixed term role for 5 years and the successful applicant will have a skill level equivalent to the achievement of a professional qualification or postgraduate degree. You will be a strong communicator who is able to build good relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of the University.
