We now have an exciting opportunity and are looking for an experienced HR practitioner to join our team as an HR Policy Adviser on a Fixed Term Contract until 31 January 2024.
The role
You will be supporting the People Policy Lead & Policy Hub Manager to review, develop and embed our HR policies and procedures that drive the culture and behaviour of the University. You will also help to develop and implement a new set of flexible contracts relevant for a modern University.
What we’re looking for
You will be able to demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of employment law and will have experience of researching good practice and providing advice on terms and conditions, organisational policies, procedures, and practices. With an eye for detail, you need to have excellent written skills to draft policy and contract documentation clearly and concisely. You will also need to engage with our key stakeholders including trade unions to collaborate and consult for the best result.
