Hired@UCB provides careers, employability and placement services to our students. We currently have a vacancy for an Employability Tutor (Placements).
The role of the Employability Tutor is to support students undertaking courses which contain either a compulsory or optional placement element to gain valuable work experience and employability skills.
In this role, you will:
- Organise placements;
- Mentor students on placement;
- Provide CV assistance;
- Maintain databases;
- Support open days and effectively promote the University;
- Develop strong links with UCB’s Schools and Departments;
- Engage with employers to source and develop placement opportunities.
Your application will be supported by relevant experience, excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of clients. IT and administrative proficiency is expected, as is a minimum level 3 qualification.
Flexibility and a willingness to conduct placement visits off-site are essential.
