About the role:

This position can be based at any of our campuses at Shepparton, Ballarat or Wangaratta and would suit a mid-career practitioner with an innovative approach to the development of the future nursing and allied health rural workforce.

The successful applicant is someone who really thinks about the health system from all perspectives, is a great communicator and can see potential that others might miss. Are you an experienced practitioner who has loads of great ideas about how to develop and improve the rural health workforce and attract great students – well this job is for you! This position can be based in Shepparton, Wangaratta, or Ballarat.

Minimum Qualifications Required

Skills and Experience required to fulfil the position:

  • You are passionate about rural health and want to make a difference in your community
  • You are qualified in a nursing or allied health discipline
  • You are a known innovator in rural nursing and/or allied health education
  • You can demonstrate your experience in developing partnerships with local health, education and community stakeholders
  • You have some experience in providing interprofessional education to nursing and/or allied health students or professionals
  • You know how to establish a positive and effective learning environment for students and the staff who support them
  • You can demonstrate real competency working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and communities in Australia
