Within this role, you will be required to develop and implement a high quality, robust Student Recruitment and Admissions service for TEDI-London. To ensure all processes, procedures and resources are in place so that we are well prepared to receive ongoing enquiries and applications from potential and current students.

We enrolled our first undergraduate student intake from September 2021, with the aim to grow to approximately 600 students by 2025.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working closely with colleagues across the organisation you will develop, embed and implement our student admissions approach to ensure they remain fit for purpose and in accordance with UK and international legislation as appropriate.
  • To ensure innovative procedures and business processes in relation to application processing including the design of student recruitment assessment centre to test both ability, aptitude and attitude to maximise successful completion of the TEDI-London degree course
  • Ensure all student recruitment and admissions processes and procedures are appropriately impact assessed to ensure diversity and inclusion is embedded within all that we do when working with potential students
  • Provide expertise on international student admissions and UKVI requirements including Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
  • Run, analyse and report on student admissions data and provide expert guidance on data trends and patterns and their implication
  • Ensure that application processes and procedures are clearly understood by all relevant staff and reflect both internal and external requirements with particular regard to changes in public examinations, professional body requirements, QAA /Office for Students codes of practice and the legal framework,
    including data protection and consumer protection law
  • Develop robust relationships with colleagues, ensuring that all student recruitment and admissions processes and procedures reflect the requirements of TEDI-London to operate a successful engineering programme.
