Full Professorship (W3) of Computer Science with Focus on
Programming Languages and AI

(Chair)

commencing as soon as possible.       

This professorship is dedicated, in research and teaching, towards Programming Languages and AI, in particular applications of AI to programming and software development. Relevant areas of research cover inter alia:

  • Programming Languages
  • Compiler Construction
  • Semantics of Programming Languages
  • Debugging
  • Domain-specific Languages
  • Static Code Analysis
  • Formal Methods for Program Correctness

The chair is responsible for the programming education in the Computer Science study programs.

Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.
