We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, outstanding academic to complement and expand our existing research strengths and whose research will fit into our research cluster in Robotic Engineering, Biomedical Imaging and Healthcare Technology. In terms of growing our cross-disciplinary research capabilities, this appointment will strengthen the new Biomedical Engineering Programme and also the Transformation in Digital Healthcare research theme through collaboration with Lincoln Medical School or one of our established Research Clusters, including Materials Science & Engineering and Biomedical Imaging & Healthcare Technology.

The Appointee will also contribute to our teaching in Biomedical Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to be heavily involved and taking leads in new curriculum development for different levels of study. A commitment to international travel is an absolute requirement of the post, and it is expected that there will be one or two international trips each year. Travel requirements will be agreed on a case-by-case basis through discussion and agreement between the post holder and their line manager. This is a full-time and permanent post.
