You will love telling stories, and will be proactive in identifying stories to tell – whether it’s from our alumni or faculty. You will have proven experience copywriting and editing experience, and and the ability to interpret complex technical language to form engaging messaging and communications. But you you understand that content is much more than just copy, and will have experience of creating content in different formats.

You will have experience of working in a marketing or communications role covering a broad range of print and digital marketing or content marketing activities, including production of marketing materials, social media, web content, and HTML email editing, with the ability to plan and coordinate the delivery of campaigns independently to meet deadlines.

Educated to degree level in English, Journalism, Marketing Communications or a relevant subject, or with equivalent experience you will have:

  • A pro-active, can-do approach with a willingness to identify and pursue a story.
  • Experience of content creation and a range of digital marketing activities.

  • The ability to build collaborative working relationships and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills, along with attention to detail.
    • The ability to interact with donors and other alumni with sensitivity, diplomacy and discretion.

You will also be willing to travel to events in the UK and occasionally work outside office hours.
