Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated candidate, with expertise in robotics technologies and smart materials, for research in soft robotics. The selected candidate will be assigned research activities in the field of bioinspired soft robotics. Specifically, the candidate will study the octopus arm and its efficient reaching movement, to design a soft robot arm with similar efficient performance in water. Candidate technologies are SMA and expertise in this field would increase the candidate's potential for success. The work will imply the use of common design and modelling tools. The candidate will be requested to conduct experimental research.
Qualifications
Bachelor / Master's degree, expertise in robotics, soft robotics, actuation technologies, SMA
