It’s Time for Online – join us to inspire and develop talent within the Built Environment

UCEM is proud to be an online university. Online learning, done well, is every bit as inclusive, engaging and successful as traditional learning. It’s also a lot more flexible, allowing our students to fit their studies around their work and life commitments, wherever they are in the world. We are an online learning pioneer, with talented academics, experienced industry practitioners, and digital learning designers working side by side, to deliver an excellent learning experience that is accessible and supportive to all.

Our results stand up to a rigorous level of scrutiny; we are accredited by Professional Statutory and Regulatory Bodies, we are monitored by Ofsted, and we are judged by our students. Find out more about our online learning delivery and see what our students have to say about it.

The Academic Delivery Manager / Programme Leader role is a key academic position in the School of the Built Environment at UCEM. You will provide academic leadership across UCEM’s postgraduate and/or undergraduate academic provision within your Built Environment subject discipline and undertake academic activities in support of the delivery of the strategic and operational priorities of the School. The purpose of the role is to:

•    Provide high quality learning, teaching and assessment;
•    Support the development and delivery of modules;
•    Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development through scholarly activity, research, industry liaison, and engagement with UCEM staff development activities.

UCEM is a place where you can bring your industry, teaching and leadership expertise to an online education environment, and really make a difference. We expect you to have good IT and digital skills and be passionate about teaching online; the remaining requirements are set out fully within the job specification.

At UCEM we expect employees to demonstrate our values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Support. Student outcomes and success are our main drivers and our people consistently report high levels of employee satisfaction; your contribution will be valued, should you join us.

University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is long-standing and leading provider of supported online education. We exist to provide accessible, relevant and cost-effective education which enhances careers, increases professionalism and leads to a better Built Environment; we are also very passionate about sustainability. Operating from the UK and Hong Kong we have a global reach, and at any one time over 3,500 students are studying online with us.
