Job Description

• Design and implement quality assurance solutions for AI systems (especially deep learning systems)
• Perform empirical studies to uncover best practices towards high-quality AI system development and deployment
• Conduct evaluations and/or user studies to validate the effectiveness of the algorithms and tools
• Write and publish research papers and present them to reputable academic conferences
• Package the documents, implementation code, evaluation results of the project for public release
• Liaise with other team members of this project to realize the overall goal of the project

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree with first or second upper class degree classification (or their equivalent) inInformation Systems / Computer Science/ Information Technology / Informatics Engineering / Computer Engineer / Software Engineering
• Excellent knowledge about AI, data mining and program analysis techniques
• Highly fluent in C, Java, and Python
• Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
• Able to work under strict deadlines
• Prior experience as Research Assistant or Research Engineer is preferred
• Research capability as evidenced by tangible deliverable i.e publication in an international conference or journal in the area of software engineering and/or AI will be advantageous
