Job Description

• Survey existing studies on AI-powered visualization and its interaction
• Develop new techniques for automated generation or recommendation of desired visualizations 
• Develop novel techniques for better user interactions with data visualization systems 
• Implement the proposed approaches and conduct extensive evaluations
• Document writing on summarizing the research outputs

Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines
• Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in data visualization, human computer interaction, machine learning, data mining or data analytics
• It is preferred that the applicant is a matriculated student of another University at the point of application
• Basic knowledge/Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python, JavaScript, D3 and HTML5 is required
• Excellent working knowledge of data visualization or HCI or machine learning will be positively considered
• Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
• Applicants with research publications in data visualization area will be advantageous
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members 
• Proficient in English speaking and writing
