The School has excellent relationships with a range of local, regional and national stakeholder’s integral to the development of the health and social care education agenda, and the provision of a highly skilled workforce.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to drive innovation and growth in the post graduate post registration portfolio. The Associate Professor (Principal Lecturer equivalent) post holder will join the school leadership team and will work collaboratively with the Deputy Head of School , the External Project and Income Manager, academic  colleagues and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful  delivery and evaluation of post registration educational programmes, short courses, consultancy and research projects.

  • Do you have the communication skills to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders to collaboratively develop and implement a  post graduate strategy which will meet the school and university objectives?
  • Do you have the skills and experience of identifying opportunities, bid development and are able to evaluate and disseminate the effectiveness and impact of completed projects?
  • Are you dynamic, adaptable and a team player who can work across professional and portfolio boundaries and has a passion for education and health and social care workforce development?

The School of Health and Social Care is growing rapidly with over 1800 students across a range of undergraduate, post-graduate degrees, post registration continuous professional development and apprenticeship programmes. We also have a vibrant interprofessional research community lead by Professors whose focus is to enhance people’s health and wellbeing and to reduce health inequalities, with focuses on primary care, rural health and ageing. We are committed to inter-professional and collaborative working in teaching and research. The successful candidate will join a strong leadership team who strongly support the university’s civic mission and ensure that the schools work contributes to the enhancement of the health and social wellbeing of people across Lincolnshire and further afield.
