The School of Psychology at the University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint one or more colleagues to the Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme team. The Trent programme delivers high quality Clinical Psychology Training through a partnership between the Universities of Lincoln and Nottingham and Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The programme currently has an intake of 24 trainees per year and a dedicated, experienced staff team of tutors and directors and administrators.

Once appointed, you will support the Co-Director (Academic and Research) in the organisation and delivery of the academic and research components of the programme. You will contribute to teaching and research activities, including the supervision and assessment of doctoral level research projects and other trainee work, help develop the curriculum to meet new HEE requirements and provide pastoral care to trainees.

Following recent expansions, the University of Lincoln has positioned itself as a major provider of applied psychology healthcare training courses in the East Midlands and in addition to the Doctorate in Clinical psychology we offer a number of British Psychological Society training routes, including for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and specialist Cognitive Behavioural therapists. The high-quality provision of mental health training and research is helping to build a highly skilled workforce within local NHS trusts, which ultimately contributes to the wellbeing of communities. The School of Psychology is at the centre of mental health developments in the region.
