An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 Student Hub Coordinators to work in our Student Support Hub. These roles are offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in one of the largest Professional Services departments in the University, you will be responsible for providing advice, information and guidance to University of Southampton students and customers on a wide array of subjects including student fees and funding, accommodation, graduation, careers events and ID cards.  

The roles require successful candidates to have the flexibility to work across a 24/7 shift pattern, initially on a shift rotation between 08.00 – 20.00, including some weekend working. A knowledge of higher education, student support and issues effecting students from a wide range of backgrounds is desirable. The successful candidates will possess excellent customer service, time-management and communication skills as well as competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). The role involves interaction with our students and the successful candidates must have: Excellent administration skills, Excellent communication skills, Experience of customer service, Experience of dealing with sensitive, personal information, The ability to be able to work both alone and within a team.
