Role Description
About
The Student Experience PSU will be focussed, innovative and committed to enhancing the experience of our students. The PSU is made up of different services bringing together key areas to ensure an increasingly collaborative and focussed approach to enhancing the student experience at Cranfield.
About the Role
As Careers Service Manager you will contribute to the employability of the University’s students and alumni, by delivering careers and employability-related teaching, advice, information, guidance and coaching to students and graduates individually and in groups.
You will provide appropriate and up to date sector specific information, advice and guidance to students to support the achievement of their goals and proactively support the students in identifying their career plans, align their skills and understanding of themselves and develop and implement their career strategies.
About You
A degree or equivalent experience is essential, and it would be desirable for the successful candidate to have undertaken professional training in coaching skills or a recognised coaching qualification. The successful candidate will have recent experience of delivering specialist guidance and learning to adults and have skills and experience in career development, coaching and training.
Our Values
Our shared, stated values help to define who we are and underpin everything we do: Ambition; Impact; Respect; and Community. Find out more here. We aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together and realise their full potential.
Diversity and Inclusion
Our equal opportunities and diversity monitoring has shown that **women and/OR** minority ethnic groups are currently underrepresented within the university and so we actively encourage applications from eligible candidates from these groups.
Flexible Working
We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and whether a position can be carried out at any of our locations. We commit to exploring the possibilities for each role. Find out more here.
