About the role
Exciting opportunity with a negotiable time fraction (0.6 to 1.0 FTE) to join the Indigenous Epidemiology and Health team as Research Coordinator. You will provide administrative and project support and assist with the team’s research by contributing to the preparation of reports, funding applications and other research documentation.
Our projects focus on Aboriginal health and social wellbeing across the lifespan using a range of epidemiological research methods (cohort studies, analyses of linked data, clinical trials) with participants located around the nation.
We are a research unit within the Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, at the University of Melbourne.
You are a good communicator who enjoys working with people from a range of backgrounds. You have tertiary qualifications plus experience managing projects and across a broad range of administrative duties. You are also well-organised and interested in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research.
