An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Careers Adviser within the Careers Team in Student Services at UWS. You will provide careers advice and guidance to students of all levels and disciplines, contributing to the development of student employability in line with University Strategies.
UWS’ Student Experience Programme seeks to embed employability within the curriculum, creating opportunities throughout the Student Journey and developing world class graduates. Careers Advisers will play a central role in the delivery of this strategy, also providing a consultative role to University Schools in planning and delivering careers activities, workshops and events.
Educated to degree level, you will also have a post-graduate qualification in Careers Guidance or equivalent. With experience of working in a careers advisory post and delivery of career planning/careers education, you will have exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Up to date knowledge of the graduate labour market and experience of working within FE/HE are desirable.
