Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 508264) (to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics or a related area, with more than three years of research experience in fabrications of nano-electronic devices and/or low-temperature & low-noise electrical measurements, and must be highly motivated. Priority will be given to those who have operated dilution refrigerator and carried out low-noise electrical/thermal measurements. Those who are expecting to complete the degree before the application deadline will also be considered.

The appointee will pursue research on various subjects, such as quantum coherence and correlations effects in graphene and 2D materials, van der Waals engineered new quantum transport phenomena, and Perovskite thermoelectrics in the group of Dr. Dongkeun Ki. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
