The Role

A unique leadership opportunity exists to join the Division of Learning and Teaching (DLT) at Charles Sturt University as a Sub-Dean with a dual focus.

The Sub-Dean (Learning Technology) makes recommendations to the division and university leadership on strategic directions in the provision of learning technologies.

The Sub-Dean (Learning Technology) also leads a team of Educational Designers, Digital Media Technologists and Learning Resources Officers supporting the design, development and delivery of subjects and courses for their designated faculty.

To be successful you will have:

  • A doctoral qualification in education or equivalent, with published scholarship relating to education
  • A track record of leadership in the strategy and delivery of learning technologies that enable high quality teaching and facilitate an excellent student experience
  • Experience in leading, managing and supporting teams to achieve aligned objectives for the team, division, and university
  • High level communication skills appropriate to audience with ability to influence outcomes
