Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer (Psychology) (Ref: 21001J3)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- Assisting in course planning, development, coordination and delivery (including classroom teaching) at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Participating in School/University activities;
- Liaising with secondary schools and tertiary education institutions and other relevant stakeholders; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- a higher degree, preferably an earned master's or doctoral degree, in Psychology (preferably in clinical psychology, counselling or other mental health-related areas) with strong research potential;
- prior knowledge about the Hong Kong education sector and willingness to travel to secondary schools and higher education institutions for programme promotion and student recruitment;
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- relevant teaching experience in higher education institutions will be a definite advantage.
The level of appointment depends on the candidate’s academic background, experience and competence in academic leadership, teaching, research, scholarly publications, etc.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
