Lecturer in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 508113), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in health psychology, cognitive science, or a related discipline, with at least 15 years’ relevant teaching experience. They should demonstrate proficiency in English and possess a track record of teaching excellence in face-to-face, online and hybrid modes. A portfolio of course design and delivery, production of teaching materials, supervision of teaching practice, quality assurance, development and coordination of problem-based learning, and/or student supervision is highly preferred.

The appointee will coordinate academic curriculum of the education programmes offered by the School, including MBBS and MPH modules. He/She will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in evidence-based decision making, clinical and field epidemiology, health psychology, health leadership and management, principles of public health, public health practice, and seminar courses; oversee the Health Research Project and Patient Care Project in MBBS curriculum; and perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
