The Academic Partnerships Office is an award winning, dynamic and well-established part of University of East London. We have successfully grown over the last few years and are now looking to expand our Team further. We wish to appoint to the new role of Account Manager to manage, lead and grow a portfolio of UEL’s academic partnerships.

The Academic Partnerships Team is vital in development, management and growth of UEL’s academic partnerships provision. Working alongside the Schools and colleagues in Quality Assurance and Enhancement Unit, the Academic Partnerships team consists of externally focused strategic business development and key account management professionals who develop, manage and grow UEL’s academic partnerships provision. We grow the number of collaborative partners and nurture existing partnerships, generating revenue for UEL in accordance with Schools’ growth and diversification plans. We also deliver the industry-leading key account management service for all current partners.

As part of a forward-thinking team, you will provide input, process improvement and day-to-day support to effectively manage a portfolio of UEL’s academic partnership accounts. You will commit to outstanding customer service across UK and global academic partners, strong collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as supporting operational activity aligned to the University’s ambitious business growth targets.

We are looking for an experienced project manager and communicator who will enjoy working in our fast-paced team. You will need to have an excellent track record of delivering to KPI’s, be comfortable with tight deadlines, effectively managing teams and working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results. With a good eye for details, strong organization, analytical and account management skills, the postholder will need experience of the quality and risk management across academic partnerships.

The University of East London is a vibrant and diverse university located in Stratford and Docklands. We are implementing our Vision 2028 strategy to transform our curriculum and partnerships to make a positive difference to student, graduate and community success. Our goal is to become the leading careers-focused, enterprising university in the UK, one which both prepares our students for the jobs of the future and provides the innovation to drive that future sustainably and inclusively.

A successful external candidate for this position would be employed by UEL Professional Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of UEL. Employees of UEL Professional Services Ltd work alongside UEL academic colleagues in delivery of UEL’s mission, and UEL Professional Services Ltd will adopt UEL HR policies and procedures in full. Further detail regarding employment benefits can be found at the employee benefits section of our recruitment pages.

CVs without a completed application form will not be accepted.
