Over the last year the University of Lincoln has received record numbers of applications from prospective students around the world. To help us build on this success, the University is seeking to appoint an ambitious and target driven Regional Manager for South Asia. Please note that this position is based in Lincoln.

The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic international team, and will be expected to lead on the development and implementation of innovative and cost-effective student recruitment strategies which drive growth.

Working towards set objectives and targets, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a network of International Representatives, educational partners, recruitment channels and campaigns across the South Asia region. This will include a particular focus on key target markets such as India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The successful candidate will also be expected to oversee the work of the University’s regional based staff in India and to provide line management duties.

As Regional Manager for South Asia, the post holder will be expected to produce data informed reports regarding market conditions and competitor activity, and to develop appropriate recommendations and innovative solutions in direct response. In addition to excellent communication, networking and cross cultural skills, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a higher education or recruitment setting, with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will also have experience of managing budgets and colleagues.

Please note that this post requires a flexible approach to accommodate unsociable hours, to include evenings and weekends, and overseas travel; up to 15 weeks per year and additional if required.
