We are committed to constantly developing practical ways in which academic success can inspire and benefit others.

The School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences has an enviable reputation for delivering student centred practice-based learning.  It is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary academic centre and the winner of the Times Higher Education’s Knowledge Exchange/Transfer Initiative of the Year, 2020.

The School offers a diverse range of programmes across the undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, through hybrid delivery, along with doctoral research programmes. This is a particularly exciting time to be joining the School and we are now seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational professional who will bring the required experience to actively and confidently contribute to the next phase of the School’s development.

As a key contributor and lead on School improvement and enhancement projects, the successful candidate will readily embrace change and be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for continuous improvement.  This exciting position will suit a dynamic individual with demonstrable experience of working in a highly visible student-facing role in Higher Education.  We would particularly welcome applicants with experience of working effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and who can offer excellent communication, influencing, completer and organisational skills.

Passionate and committed to working collaboratively to deliver a high-quality student experience, you will also be able to provide detailed specialist knowledge and guidance to students and staff on practices and procedures relating to student engagement and academic progression.  Engaging directly with students, academics and other stakeholders, you will make a significant contribution to furthering the School’s ambitions and evolving priorities, to create an inspiring, inclusive and contemporary learning environment for students and a positive experience for applicants and alumni.

Evidence of CPD and upskilling is essential to ensure currency of knowledge and skill set.
