Temporary Research Assistant
PI from the department of Communication and New Media will like to hire a Temporary Research Assistant on writing scripts for downloading files from comScore API as well as for converting raw files to cleaned CSV files. The selected candidate will also be responsible for sharing cleaned and pre-processed data files and doing basic literature review on the topic.
- Writing scripts to download data using ComScore's API
- Writing scripts to converting raw XML files to cleaned and processed CSV files
- Data analysis and version control
- Managing data
Competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics or related field
- Ability to write codes, deal with big data and run computational analysis
