The School has been on a trajectory of growth, and are currently seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in law to join an enthusiastic and motivated team of academics to continue to build the profile of the school by contributing to learning and research excellence. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in International Human Rights Law, International Environmental Law, and/or Transnational Crime, and are able to contribute to teaching modules on these subjects on our LLM programmes.  The post holder will also be required to teach one or more areas of our UG curriculum.

The successful candidate will have a strong and active research profile evidenced by internationally recognised research publications in a relevant field, successful supervision of PhD students to completion, a record of attracting research funding or demonstrate the potential to do so, as well as other esteem indicators. The post-holder will be expected to work closely with established partners and contribute towards Executive Education where necessary. This role is aligned with the University Strategy that promotes the development of international academic partnerships, developing and expanding commercial links to support our mission, vision and values. Therefore, the ability to persuade, influence, motivate and establish credibility with a wide range of stakeholders is essential.
