The Belle Wiese Chair of Legal Ethics will have a research doctorate, an international profile and a discipline focus on justice,  ethics and regulation. A strong record of quality publications, research impact and innovative teaching is essential.

The position offers the opportunity to be part of an energised Law School, including leading the development of a specific area of disciplinary focus, providing support for the strong team in the Law School, and collaborating in interdisciplinary research around the University’s four global impact clusters.

The University is at the centre of the dynamic regeneration of the Newcastle region, reflected in the Law School’s imminent move into its new $95m purpose-built landmark precinct in the Newcastle city centre.
