Research Fellow, Optical Reader Design and Prototyping

Job Description

An NUS Engineering technology acceleration project is seeking a highly-motivated, team-oriented research fellow to develop an optical/fluorescence reader system for medical diagnostic applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and prototyping of the optical reader system, coding and optimization of user interface, system testing, and liaison with OEM partners.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a related field.  
  • 3 years of experience in optical reader development, prototyping, CAD and related software, 3D printing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A desire to work in a fast paced, team development environment.
