Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Professor Lai Choy Heng and co-investigators under a project on complexity science urban resilience. The main responsibilities of the position include carrying out studies involving mathematical modelling, computer simulation, and complex network analysis. The role is part of a team working on complex systems, their resilience and forecasting, with application to urban systems. The successful candidate is expected to interact with other research fellows in this interdisciplinary project.

Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant discipline. Experience in a team-based multi-disciplinary environment will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge/experience of network modelling, agent-based simulation, and/or mathematical modelling of dynamical systems.
  • Possess good communication (verbal/written) and organizational skills.
  • Solid research experience and track record.
