The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • $98,003 to $110,997 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

In this hands on role, you will be responsible for the compilation, development, and implementation of the annual budget for the University based on the analysis of student load and related trends, budget models and key performance indicators across Faculty, Research and Divisional support areas.

You will also deliver regular and special high-quality financial reports, analysis and insightful commentary to the Executive, Finance Review Committee and Council when required.

As a leader within the finance team, you will contribute to and promote the continuous improvement and overall good management of the Division.

  • Exceptional analytical and finance skills, capable of making informed and measured recommendations
  • Model strong leadership to inspire direction and delivery, develop people, and drive change
  • High-level organisational skills and ability to prioritise and schedule work to ensure the delivery of objectives to critical deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain strong networks and relationships with a range of stakeholders to benefit strategic objectives
