Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Mental Health Nursing within UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems.

The UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems is a constituent School of the UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences. The position The School wishes to appoint a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Mental Health Nursing (maternity leave cover, full-time or part time at 0.5FTE) to contribute to teaching, curriculum design and enhancement and academic administration on the School's undergraduate and graduate-taught programmes, and to work with clinical personnel in the mental health services and other external partners in supporting student learning. In addition to teaching and administrative duties, the post holder will engage in research and scholarship in the discipline and will contribute to the development of the School's research agenda. Based on level of prior experience, the post holder may be expected to assume leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Dean and Head of School.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for an experience mental health nurse to gain valuable experience working in an academic setting.
Salary Scale: €54,848 - €86,235 per annum, (pro rata for part time role) Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guideline.
