As one of two Admissions Operations Managers you will manage a team of admissions staff responsible for making decisions and processing a very large numbers of applications across a range of applicant groups, including home and overseas, undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research, for admission to the University of Greenwich. 

You will take lead responsibility for specific applicant groups, such as postgraduate or undergraduate, for which you will be responsible for managing, developing and maintaining all admissions processes and procedures to support large scale decision making and to ensure fairness and transparency. You will act as lead contact internally for specific applicant groups, responsible for liaising with academic departments and professional services to ensure delivery of the admissions service, as well as keeping abreast of external developments in the higher education admissions sector. You will take lead responsibility for specific areas of admissions policy or projects, including responsibility for the fee assessments process, and for fee status appeals. You will also support the work of colleagues across the Admissions team by working flexibly and collaboratively responding to peaks in the admissions cycle to ensure the effective day to day running of the entire unit and an excellent admissions experience to all applicants.

You will have demonstrable experience of the UCAS system and the principles and processes which underpin a fair and transparent admissions service. You will have the ability to lead and motivate a team, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. You will also be driven to explore new ideas and be creative when reviewing business processes, always looking for ways to improve.
