Job Description

  • Survey and evaluate existing AI certification standards and processes and AI quality criteria and assurance techniques
  • Design improved and extended AI certification standards and processes
  • Develop improved and extended quality criteria and assurance techniques for AI certification 
  • Develop mitigation strategies and techniques that can improve AI systems with respect to given criteria and standards
  • Provide guidance for junior research students and engineers
  • Write and publish research papers and tools at reputable academic venues

Qualifications

  • Minimum PhD’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems / Informatics / Software Engineering or closely related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience in AI, cyber-security, software engineering, software testing, program analysis, or formal methods
  • Excellent knowledge about AI, data mining, software testing, program analysis or cyber-security
  • Highly fluent in C, Java, or Python
  • Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
  • Able to work under strict deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • Good research capability as evidenced by tangible deliverables (e.g., publications or tools developed in the area of AI, software engineering, or cybersecurity)
  • Experience in supervising junior students will be advantageous
