Part-Time Lecturer (University Scholars Programme)

The National University of Singapore is looking for a Part-Time Lecturer to teach a course on Writing and Critical Thinking. The position will be in the University Scholars Programme (USP), the premier undergraduate honours programme at the National University of Singapore, one of Asia’s leading research universities.

Job Requirements

The primary responsibility is to design and teach one of USP’s mandatory first-year courses in academic writing and critical thinking, to which candidates will be expected to bring his or her own disciplinary expertise.

Candidates should hold a PhD, be active scholars, and have prior experience in teaching the practices and conventions of academic thinking and writing to undergraduates, and be able to demonstrate the ability to do so.

The position available is a 5-month part-time position from August 2021 to December 2021.
