The University of Lincoln is looking to appoint a highly motivated Front of House Manager to join our team based in the Sport and Fitness Centre, situated on our Brayford Campus. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to join a high profile, professional organisation with excellent opportunities to grow and develop.

Working as part of a small team, you will head up the Reception team, ensuring that regular coaching and training is carried out. You will maintain standards ensuring compliance in all areas. In addition, you will ensure that exceptional customer service is at the forefront of every member interaction. Acting as the first point of contact to customers and staff, you will provide a professional service and also manage customer enquiries. This is a new role so you can make it your own, developing the student experience at the heart of what you do.

Our Receptionists play a crucial role in creating the first impression for our members when visiting. They are the face of our business and are responsible for delivering the Sport Lincoln experience as soon as our members walk through our doors. They have expert knowledge of the business and pride themselves on providing first class customer service.  

As Front of House Manager you will play a key role in overhauling key operational procedures and implementing policies to ensure we are a modern and engaging service to all users. You should have great vision with a forward thinking mind.

With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, you will have experience of working in a customer focussed environment, with administrative experience. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base and have the ability to develop effective relationships and persuade and negotiate with others. With excellent planning, organisation and prioritising skills, you will have the ability to work effectively with others and work under pressure during challenging situations.

This role will predominantly be based at the Brayford Campus and is required for 37 hours per week. Your typical hours of work will cover early mornings, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
