Accommodation Officer

Job description

As part of Student Life and Support, the Accommodation Service is responsible for accommodating over 700 students in University accommodation and provides an advisory service to students living in and seeking accommodation in the private rented sector.

The Accommodation Officer will work to ensure that students, many of whom are living away from home or looking for accommodation for the first time, receive the information, support and guidance necessary.

The role holder will enhance the student experience by working proactively and flexibly to support the delivery and development of a wide range of accommodation services to students and prospective students as well as commercial partners. The role requires a flexible approach and a ‘can-do’ attitude, to work both independently and as part of the team, to develop and improve systems and processes in order to deliver a high-quality service.

Due to the service demands of this role there are periods when annual leave may be restricted (July, August & September)
