Sport

Durham University is one of Europe's leading sport universities and has been ranked as Britain's Number 1 Team Sport University since 2013. In the autumn of 2019 the University completed the construction of a £32m Sports & Wellbeing Park, adding to a prior investment, on the same site, of £8m in 2012.

Role

Primarily the Head Coach will lead and develop the men's and women's rowing programme. The post holder will develop and implement a strategy for rowing which will include, but not be limited to, recruiting the best men's and women's rowers and being responsible for liaising with British Rowing and other key stakeholders for the betterment of the programme. They will also contribute to developing and delivering fund-raising opportunities in order to continue to grow the programme.

Specific role requirements The post holder will be required to work weekends and evenings. The role will require regular travel.

A DBS Disclosure is required.
