Situated in the heart of a beautiful and historic city, The University of Lincoln was named as the Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. The University has built an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and research and is rated TEF Gold the highest standard possible for the quality of its teaching.
Due to an increase in student numbers and the ongoing development of the programmes offered by the school, Lincoln Law School is seeking to recruit a number of Associate Lecturers in Law, who can work independently as well as in a team, with excellent organisational skills and who can meet deadlines.
Associate Lecturers carry out a valuable role in the delivery of the Academic Programme and are engaged for the delivery of formal scheduled teaching and teaching related activity. Hours will vary by negotiation, but are likely to be between three and nine hours per week on campus, during term time, with marking responsibilities during assessment periods. It is envisaged that Associate Lecturers will work with existing teaching teams in the core LL.B. modules and so previous experience of teaching, or relevant practical experience as a solicitor, legal executive or paralegal would be welcome.
Please note, successfully shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly by the panel, interviews for this post will be held w/c 23rd August 2021.
