UCB are seeking to appoint a talented Lecturer, with strong industry experience and a considered commitment to Teaching and Learning, to support the delivery and growth of our specialist postgraduate/higher education programmes in Prosthetics, Special Effects, Make-Up and Hair within the School of Business, Tourism and Creative Industries. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to offer teaching in a range of subjects which may include: 

  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Art/Life Drawing
  • Digital Design Tools (Zbrush/photoshop)
  • Dressing and Styling 
  • Fashion Make-Up 
  • Freelance Industry Sector 
  • Hair Cutting and Styling 
  • Historical and Cultural Developments in Hair and Make-Up 
  • Maquette Making 
  • Model Making 
  • Pathology 
  • Period Hair and Make-Up 
  • Photography 
  • Prosthetics
  • Special Effects Make-Up 
  • Wig Making 
  • Wig Setting

Essential requirements for this role include: 

  • Strong knowledge of, and experience within, industry 
  • Relevant teaching/training/coaching experience 
  • Qualification in a relevant discipline
