  • Commencement Salary: $119,598 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated individual who has experience managing multiple concurring projects which relate to a range of infrastructure, e.g. the UniSA’s corporate data centres, fixed and wireless networks, telephony system, server fleet.

This position reports directly to the Deputy Director: ICT Infrastructure and Cyber Security and is accountable to project Governance Groups comprising of University leaders and senior managers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project manage and coordinate the implementation of large software application projects
  • Develop, implement, monitor and control risk management strategies for Information Systems projects to ensure deliverables are achieved and expectations managed
  • Manage a capital investment budget of approximately $1.5m annually
  • Manage and develop staff to ensure all staff are customer service focused, empowered, motivated and equipped with appropriate skills

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Comprehensive project management skills including the ability to successfully managing multiple ICT systems-based projects of significant scope and complexity simultaneously, including demonstrated ability to manage human and financial resources in a project setting
  • Experience writing and presenting project proposals, business cases and recommendations for consideration by senior management
  • Experience in coordinating the collation of business requirements
  • Experience in successfully developing and maintaining constructive relationships with a wide range of stakeholder
  • Experience in leading a team of information technologists, and consultants to provide high quality information systems project delivery in a University or similar environment
