We are looking for a UX designer with strong creative and accessibility experience to join our Web Transformation team at the University of Southampton. The role requires a person who can carry out user research, usability testing, develop processes and prototypes for several public facing digital products for the NIHR. 

The successful applicant must have;

  • At least two years previous experience in a UX designer, user researcher or creative role and have a good understanding of usability best practices with practical experience delivering user research and stakeholder engagement. 
  • They must be familiar with working together in a multi organisational team and be able to articulate user needs and communicate them in a clear manner to stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, flexibility, self-motivation, and a determination to succeed as a member of a strong team. 
  • They will show strong communication skills and ability to build good relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of the University.

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will have skill level, equivalent to achievement of a professional qualification or postgraduate degree.
