Asia-Pacific Institute of Ageing Studies (APIAS) of Lingnan University is inviting applications for a position of Post-doctoral Fellow to manage projects and teach health and welfare courses.

General Requirements

Applicants should (i) have a doctoral degree, preferably in Social Work, Social Policies, Health Studies, Nursing or Gerontology; (ii) have experiences in conducting qualitative and quantitative research studies; (iii) have experiences in writing research grant proposals; (iv) be able to deliver courses such as healthcare and welfare management, social care ethics, Hong Kong’s health and social services, program evaluation or social enterprises; and (v) have good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Appointment

The conditions of appointment will be competitive. The remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and incoming passage and baggage allowance. Experienced Postdoctoral Fellow may carry a functional title of Research Assistant Professor. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to two years.
