The School of Water, Energy & Environment (SWEE) and Energy Theme welcomes applications from experienced administrators for the role of Training & Development Assistant, supporting the C-DICE Training Hub Development Manager

About the Role

The Training and Development Assistant will be working directly with the Training Hub Development Manager who is leading the Cranfield based Centre for Postdoctoral Development in Infrastructure, Cities and Energy (C-DICE). Your role will be to provide organisational and administrative support for the C-DICE training and development programme. This will involve working with professionals from both academia and industry. You will have responsibility for the organising and processing of on-line and face-to-face training sessions and events conference and events bookings and efficiently communicating with enquirers, delegates, and training suppliers. Some of these training sessions will be already developed and available whilst others will be created specifically for the C-DICE programme. The Training and Development Assistant will be based at Cranfield but work closely with colleagues at both Loughborough and Birmingham. They will be instrumental in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of a diverse range of courses and learning experiences for professionals from both academia and industry.

About You

You will have a good level of education overall with minimum Grade C at GCSE in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualification. You may also have a professional qualification relating to training or management, e.g. CIPD (Assoc) or working towards qualification.
