Salary: The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £44,737 - £52,764 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The UCL Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment is the UK's largest and leading multidisciplinary faculty of the built environment, covering architecture, construction and project management, planning and environmental design as well as other specialist fields. This post sits in UCL's Urban Laboratory, a cross-faculty unit, currently hosted within The Bartlett, UCL's Faculty of the Built Environment.
Our staff are at the forefront of the international research and teaching, encompassing individual excellence, interdisciplinary collaborations, and pioneering methodology. This role will join the team of Urban Laboratory. The post holder will be required to work within the team to develop and deliver postgraduate modules on Global Urbanism and contributing to UCL's transdisciplinary urban research.
The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of UCL Urban Laboratory's new MASc in Global Urbanism. The MASc works across the arts, humanities, social sciences and science and technology, developing holistic responses to complex urban problems
We are seeking candidates who are qualified to PhD level in urban studies, or a related urban field.
The successful candidates will possess in-depth knowledge and experience as outlined in the Person Specification. This will include a strong and international publication record in urban studies or related research fields. Experience of student supervision and/or teaching in a higher education or similar context, are also essential. In addition, the successful candidates will be committed to collaborative and transdisciplinary education and research.
